She then researches Ailsa Hoyle on her laptop, which takes her to a website in Glasgow. ![]() When Louise returns to the notebook, she notices pages have been ripped out. Then she checks her son’s room and notes his glass of water has tipped over just like in her dream.Įven here, some may not understand what is happening. She checks her hands as she’s not sure if she’s out of the dream. Suddenly, Louise wakes up, and she’s a little shaky. Louise falls asleep while reading the notebook and she returns to paradise where she hangs with her son Adam, but then she notices another door - “The Second Door”, and walks in. He was wondering if it will be different at her mansion. Flashbacks show that Rob was sick of his life living in a council estate, but he was excited about seeing Adele again soon, and he was nervous. The alarm bells go off here for the viewers because the series explicitly states that Rob is gay why would David be jealous? Unless he was jealous of their friendship, and not romantically?Īnd then the twist of the story starts to come to fruition. Louise is in complete shock, but Adele believes that Rob’s body is still there. According to Adele, David refuses to go near the woods or sell the mansion she tells Louise that she thinks David killed Rob because he was jealous of him. Adele claims that David killed RobĪdele shows Louise the woods painting on the wall she explains how it’s the same woods where she lived when growing up. Adele states she sounds like Rob, and that’s where it all started. Louise tells Adele that she should live her own life and be her own person. Adele tells Louise that David paints a picture of her and everyone thinks she’s crazy. Adele seems worried that she read it all, but Louise didn’t. The next day, she gives the file to Adele. She finds a note about herself and rips it up before taking the file with her. She looks through the files and finds Adele’s. In the middle of the night, Louise sneaks into her former workplace and enters David’s office. The emotions of the situation are encouraging her to push people away. Louise is frustrated by the conversation and hates to be made out to be the victim in the conversation. Sophie tells Louise that she’s best off out of it. Louise admits that David fired her because he found out about her and Adele being friends. Later on, Sophie comes to Louise’s apartment. While all of that took place, David, clueless about Adele's abilities, believed his fiancé turned wife merely had a massive personality shift.The recent events have taken a toll on Louise. During one of their sessions where they astral traveled together, Rob stole Adele's body and killed her - talk about taking identity theft to the extreme. The first plot twist that was like an earthquake shaking us to our core was the truth that Adele was, in fact, Rob. But as her suspicions grew about David and Adele, Louise began to uncover details about Adele's past, like her friend Rob and what happened to him. Now at the time, it didn't occur to Louise that the wife of the man she was having an affair with, being able to astral travel, was cause for alarm. ![]() But subtly, Adele planted seeds of doubt in Louise’s mind that David was controlling and hurting her. In the present, after meeting Louise and their friendship grew, Adele taught Louise how to astral project just like Rob. ![]()
